Images showing scenes from the official unveiling of the 28th Maori Battalion National War Memorial Community Centre, in Palmerston North. Photographs taken on 27 June 1964 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Images show some of the Maori and Pakeha guests seated outside the building. Frame 8 onwards shows Arapeta Awatere, and an unnamed man with a moko.
