Scenes from Upper Queen Street, and railway workers at Mechanics Bay Station and rail yards, Auckland, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Images show scenes from outside a church (largely obscured) in Upper Queen Street, Auckland, where a youth, identified as Peter Witehira, stands. He wears a collarless 'Beatle' jacket and his hair is combed forward. Other scenes show railway workers at Mechanics Bay Station, along Tamaki Drive, and working in the railway yards.
