Images from Waikato bands concert, part of Ngaruawahia Festival of the Arts, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Images show Shirley Clifford, Anzac Te Oka and Wi Wharekura sitting backstage (Frame 2); and Anzac Te Oka and Gerry Merito backstage (Frame 1). Groups shown are: the Thunder Clouds (Frame 5), Vogue Trio (Bill Morgan, Ivan Berryman, Lyman Young - Frames 6-7, 9-10), Quin Tikis (Bill Rawhiti, bass; Anzac Te Oka, sax; Marsh Cook, sax; Sam Matepare, guitar; Richard Taiaroa, guitar; Gimmick Cameron, drums) - Frame 12.
