Copy of three charts showing Mercury Bay, Tolaga Bay, and Bay of Islands. Original was published as plate 9 in volume three of the French edition (Paris, 1774), of John Hawkesworth's account of James Cook's first voyage published in London the previous year, as 'An account of a voyage round the world with a full account of the voyage of the Endeavour in the year MDCCLXX along the east coast of Australia'.
