Images show scenes from a wedding reception held in a marquee at Stokes Valley, taken in 1964 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Scenes show the Maori bridegroom (Waaka Vercoe) and his Pakeha bride Rosalind singing with Millie Clark. (The bridal couple are members of Ngati Poneke). Also shows cutting of wedding cake, and guests singing. Frame 2 shows Waaka and Rosalind singing with Millie Clark; between them is Waaka's sister Joy Vercoe, and behind Joy is Tom Hawea, one of the Ministers who married them. Frame 12 shows Annie, left, and Millie Clark (also in Frames 1-3).
