Hydrographic chart 290 56, of the area to the East of the North Island of New Zealand, from Bream Head to Te Paki Point, including Hauraki Gulf. Also shows Moehau Peninsula, Mercury Islands, Hen and Chickens Group, and Moko Hinou Islands. Relief shown by contours and spot heights. Depths shown by soundings.
Originally published at the Admiralty Office, London, 1906. Additions up to 1957. Annotations include an area off the East coast of Great Barrier Island which is marked as an area where fishing and anchoring are prohibited.
Extended Title - from surveys by W. Pudsey Dawson of H.M.S. "Penguin" 1904-5 and A.G.N. Wyatt of H.M.S. "Endeavour" 1938-39.
