Map originally appended to official report 'Department of Lands - A Botanical Examination of the higher Waimarino District' by E Phillips Turner, in section C-11 of Appendix to the Journals of the House of Representatives, 1909 Session. Printed by John Mackay, Government Printer.
Overprinted in red highlighting boundary of Waimarino District and text describing vegetation, especially forest resources in the area on either side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.
Annotated in red ink as "1909 map".
