Description

Images show scenes from Ruatoria, taken in May 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.

Images show a local shop front, also shown is a welcome for a group of Colombo Plan students, guests of the people of Ruatoria. Frame 4 shows Pine Taiapa explaining a carving, located in the Maori room of Sir Apirana Ngata's home, to the students.
