Images show scenes from Whanarua Bay, East Cape, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Images show two men, leaning against a truck, talking. Also shown is a group of people, standing on the side of the road, talking, one person rides a horse. Six images show the painter Mary Wi Repa, in frame 12 she is pictured with one of her cloud paintings which she calls her "dream pictures".
