Images show scenes from Parikino Pa, Whanganui River, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Images show scenes from the Maori District Schoolhouse, also shown are images of people who live locally. Images consist of:
- Frames 1-3 were taken at the schoolhouse and show the school teachers children. Frame 4 shows the teacher pushing one of his children in a wheelbarrow.
- Children sitting in a classroom.
- A man inspects under the bonnet of a car while a woman looks on.
- A kuia standing outside a house.
- A woman and a child in a garden.
