Images show scenes from Ngaruawahia Regatta and Tūrangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Two people have been identified by an unidentified attendee at a later date as Ivan Berryman (a member of the Vogue Trio with Bill Morgan and Lyman Young). He is seen with Gertrude Berryman. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Images consist of:
- A woman and a man at a food stall at the regatta.
- People outside tents, which are set up on the banks of the Waikato River, during the regatta.
- Frames 7 onwards show scenes of people sitting outside a building on Tūrangawaewae Marae.
