Five interviews with people who lived in Pirongia, mainly in the first half of the 20th century. Specific topics include country life, dairy farming, Pirongia School, Mangapiko School, church life and social events, local people and businesses, impact of WWI and WWII on families.
The interviewees are: Flora Monrath Coster, Marian (Molly) Scott Dawson, Edwin Rayner (Ray) Johnson, Noel Ormsby, Margaret Sherwin.
