Track 1: Adults, feeding with short flights between branches, birds arriving and departing; Maud Island; grass strip planted with tree lucerne and other shrubs between fenced field and edge of cliff; distance 5m; background bumble bees, crickets, cicadas, wind gusts; weather fine, light NW wind, 14 deg C; recorded 12 Aug 1983, 1430 hrs.
Track 2: Adult, sitting in tawa tree; Ngamanu Sanctuary, Waikanae, tawa grove near western boundary; distance 15m; background starling, water dripping on leaves; weather showers, NW wind, 13 deg C; recorded 10 Sep 1983, 1430 hrs.
Track 3: Adult, sitting on perch; Little Barrier Island, lawns and shrubberies near house; distance 12 ft; weather fine, warm; recorded Sep 1978, 2pm.
