Four tracks: Territory calls.

Tracks 1 and 2: Ngamanu Trust Sanctuary, Waikanae

Track 1: Adult, moving around giving calls; swamp forest containing kaihikatea, pukatea, Eugenia maire, with good understorey, damp forest floor; weather fine calm mild; recorded 16 Mar 1983, 1100 hrs.

Track 2: Adult male (pair present), flying between song perches; manuka scrub along boundary near lookout; distance 3-7m; weather fine calm 15 deg; recorded 22 Aug 1983, 1300hrs; individual songs edited and joined in sequence.

Track 3: Adult male flying between song perches; Lake Pukepuke, between nos. 1 and 2 pond grassed track with some trees and shrubs; weather fine mild calm; recorded 6 Nov 1986, 1030 hrs.

Track 4: Adult male flying between song perches; Shakespear Regional Park, road to Haruhi Bay; verge planted with native trees above gums; distance 4-5m; weather fine calm mild; recorded 23 Oct 1989, 0730 hrs.
