Born in Taranaki, 1939. Describes time spent in Taranaki and the works he produced while there. Talks about the development of polyphonic chords in his art - discusses working with other Taranaki artists and the formation of the Taranaki Artists Co-Operative (TACO). Recalls the New Plymouth Beach Restoration Scheme, the New Plymouth Mural Project, and the destruction of his dolphin mural
