Two tracks: male and female adults, walking around enclosures, roosting on perches, feeding from metal trays; Lake Pukepuke, near Himatangi Beach; birds in netting runs surrounded by young pine plantation.
Track 1: distance 2m; background from coast, blackbird, thrush; weather fine, light NW wind, 11 deg C; recorded 6 Sep 1983, 1830 hrs.
Track 2: little background noise; weather fine calm 13 deg C; recorded 7 Sep 1983, 0835 hrs.
