Description

Scenes are of a dance held at the Auckland Maori Community Centre, taken in 1962, by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.

Images show people dancing at the Auckland Maori Community Centre and consist of:

- People dancing, in some images the band "Playdates" can be seen on stage in the background.

- The saxophonist of the "Playdates".

- "Playdates" member Danny Robinson.

- Member of the Auckland Maori Community Centre Trust Board and Compere, Ben Broughton, dancing with his daughter.
