Photograph of Hall's grocery shop at 41 Adelaide Road, Newtown, Wellington, taken circa 1935 by an unidentified photographer.
Shows the two storied front of the shop including verandah and display windows. Also shows a building next door.
At one time this business was owned by John Hall, the youngest son of Harold and Win Hall. John bought the shop from his mother. The building was later modified. The business was connected to Harold Hall's grocery in Tory Street which was run by another family member.
