Colour transparencies of expedition members, birdlife, sailing, and local scenes taken by James (Jim) Watt in Chile during the Totorore expedition, circa Jul-Oct 1983.
Set includes images of Luis Espinosa, Oscar Prochelle, John Atkinson, Gerry Clark, Andreas von Meyer, Jim Watt, Pancho (son of Julia von Mayer), Sergio Ohme, Mike Hurst, Patrick Gary, and Jay Nelson. Activities include birdwatching on Pelluco Beach, observing fishing craft at Angelmo (Puerto Montt), landing at the Guafo Island lighthouse (faro), and leaving Ypun Island. There are scenes above and below deck on the 'Totorore'. Bird images include South American terns and an image of a chimango caracara "Accipater" at Guafo Island "on ashy-headed gosling".
