- Description
Colour transparencies of birdlife, sailing, and local scenes taken by James (Jim) Watt in Chile during the Totorore expedition, circa Jul-Dec 1983.
Set contains images of winter plovers, Inca terns, [patu colorado?](at Pudeto), chimango caracara in flight, teal [ducks?] at Teal Cove (Guafo Island), [geese?], grey phalaropes, a white-rumped swallow, white-winged coots, a South American tern in flight, a black-browed mollymawk in flight, pintails (at Pumalin Park), a turkey vulture, and hooded gulls (including an non-breeding adult and a juvenile in flight). Also contains images of Gerry Clark on board the 'Totorore', fishing boats unloading at Angelmo (Puerto Montt), and a truck with passengers riding in the tray.
Inscriptions: Note from depositor reads: "'Totorore'- this series [sic] were emptied into a plastic bag from a slide carousel - jumbled. Done a rough sort - like with like where poss."
