Description

Colour transparencies of birdlife taken by James (Jim) Watt in Chile during the Totorore expedition, circa Jul-Dec 1983.

Set includes images of winter plover, steamer ducks, grebes, black-necked swans flying, South American terns, hooded gulls, black oystercatchers flamingos, sufbirds, a green-backed firecrown hummingbird, a chimango caracara in flight, a chiloe wigeon, and a churrete.

Also one image of a pack being transported on a flying fox at Guafo Island lighthouse.

Inscriptions: Note from depositor reads: "Large box of slides - glaciers, Patagonia, Andes, Quintepeu, Reloncavi, [Reniaue?] Mountains, Guafo Island".
