Description

Colour transparencies of birdlife and local scenes taken by James (Jim) Watt in Chile during the Totorore expedition, circa Jul-Dec 1983.

Set includes images of rufous-backed negrito (hen and male), steamer ducks in flight "tacyeres patachonicus", an unidentified dead bird, flamingos in flight, a house wren "chercan", Inca terns perched [under a bridge?], hooded gulls, a [coromorant?], and a black-browed mollymawk. Also includes shellfish being sold at riverside market, a shop selling wowen and knitted goods, a Patagonian fox, two vaqueros on their horses, and a view of the entrance to Quintepeu Estuary.
