Description

Colour transparencies of birdlife, sailing, and local scenes taken by James (Jim) Watt in Chile during the Totorore expedition, circa Jul-Dec 1983.

Includes images of boats (including 'Jolie Brise' and 'Negofol') in regatta at Puerto Montt, a hare at Punta Arenas, the river at Valdivia, and waterfall at Reloncavi. Birds include grebes, yellow-billed pintail duck, kelp gulls, black-necked swans, steamer ducks, churrete (at Valparaiso), turkey vulture, Magellanic penguin on a nest, male ringed kingfisher (at Pudeto), and a Peruvian pelican.

Inscriptions: Note from depositor reads: "Von Meyers, Puerto Montt, Valdivia, Hulk Lonsdale, Puerto [sic] Arenas - Large box of slides for projector".
