Shows four frames illustrating news headlines. In the first frame, titled 'Scouts 'Bob-a-Job' next week', a woman is scolding her lazy husband. The second frame is titled 'Bowls played by moonlight' and shows young couples playing bowls at night. In the third frame, 'Engineer urges laying of power lines across strait', one man asks another 'What would you say to the North Island receiving our surplus power?' The final frame is called 'Sky writing in city' and shows sky writing which reads 'Income tax due this month'
The words '2nd March '56, No. 224' are written in blue coloured pencil on the back of the cartoon
