Three drawings by J J Merrett. Two young women stand, with a cloak pulled across both at the front. An older balding and bearded Maori man holds a taiaha with a background of a pataka and bush. A European and a Maori man stand on rocks above the Waikato River. There is a distinctive mountain in the background, and clumps of bush on both sides of the river
