Small photograph album compiled by Robert Henry (Harry) Fulton relating to his World War I service between 1916 and 1919. Many photographs are taken by Fulton. Some prints are taken by unknown photographers.
- Locations are in New Zealand, Cairo, Tel El Kebir, and Suez, Egypt; France, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Australia, and Ireland.
- Military scenes include: tents in camp, kit stores, and evacuation troops at Tel El Kebir; captured Turkish guns, landscapes and troops at Anzac Cove, Dardanelles; the grave of Major Grant on Gallipoli; bayonet training, kit stores and barracks at Sling Camp; Grey Towers hospital, Hornchurch; 12th Reinforcement soldiers marching over Rimutaka range and Trentham camp; and a bombed building on the Somme.
-Transport related scenes include: locals and soldiers at Melun railway station; views from a troop train through France; steam train at Oissel station; captured German SM UC-5 submarine at wharf; pilot station in Colombo harbour; French naval vessels; 12th Reinforcements onboard on the HMNZT 'Ivernia' and 'Ulimaroa'; 12th NZ Reinforcements disembarkation from HMNZT 'Ulimaroa' at Suez and embarkation on 'Ivernia' at Le Havre; an Australian troop ship; bridges across the Seine River.
- Leave activity scenes include: Seine River; country inns in Ireland; camels at the Pyramids, boating on the Nile River, Cairo gardens, the Napoleon I lookout tower at Tel El Kebir, Ismailia railway station; High Street gate, Stonehenge, Poultry Cross, Amesbury village, Salisbury; beach of Mount Lavinia, Colombo; sight-seeing and crowds at Anzac Day in London; Windsor Castle; Perth street.
- Featured persons include: Private H. Fulton in France; King George V reviewing New Zealand troops at Hornchurch; the Prince of Wales Edward VIII on horse in Egypt; cousins in a car, Ireland, Miss Fulton and niece Joici O'Neill [(sp?] outside family home 'Maglona Hall' Mullingar, County Westmeath; the ship officers of the 'Ulimaroa'.
