Possibly Otaki Pa. Unfinished sketch, with colours to be added indicated in pencil. Shows three Maori buildings including a wharenui. Washing hangs on a line between two poles. On the verso is a sketchy drawing of Kakaramea-Tihia Massif, a dormant volcano in Tongariro National Park. Colours intended for inclusion are indicated in pencil, with the finished look having 'distant hills, warm lights [and] blue shadows'
