Description

Transparencies (slides) relating to Michael Alexander Harvey's service during the Vietnam War of 1961-1975 taken between 1967-1968 by unidentified photographers.

Slides include images of soldiers, explosions, helicopters, landscapes, rocks, fields and Vietnamese children. The images include crouching soldiers firing guns, and soldiers setting explosives and lighting fuses. Some slides have captions which include: 'WP smoke'; 'pit on Pinnaroo'; 'Chinook dropping in exsplosives' [SIC]; 'dust off after mine' and 'Westmoreland' (which perhaps includes the American General William Westmoreland).

Arrangement: Slides have been kept in the same order as supplied by Harvey. Dates on the slides appear to be when they were developed.
