Pamphlet advises of the relationship between Christchurch picture theatres and the daily newspaper the "Sun" (1914-1935). The cover and text side shows a portrait photograph of Gordon Mirams, the motion picture editor of the "Sun". The pictorial side shows stills from the motion pictures screening at various Christchurch theatres in 1933:

2. Theatre Royal: Bela Lugosi in "White zombie"
3. Plaza: "Cynara" starring Ronald Colman and Kay Francis
4. Crystal Palace: "Money talks" with Judy Kelly and Kid Berg

6. Liberty: Johnny Mack Brown, Evelyn Knapp and George Irving in "The vanishing frontier"
7. Regent: Warner Baxter and Herbert Mundin in "Dangerously yours"
