A view of Dunedin's First Church in Moray Place. The sky is dark but the sun breaks through to produce a rainbow over the church. A large tree stands to the right of the scene, and two figures stand in front of the building, giving a sense of perspective
On verso, backing board is inscribed 'John Atkinson / Eastbourne / Wellington', in pencil
