Includes a letter of congratulation on Franks' successful organisation of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Queen Carnival on 21 Aug 1940 (folder also contains two annotated programmes from the event), a letter of goodwill in anticipation of his departure to the front, a letter on National Patriotic Fund letterhead from a man called Lloyd, and a letter from an unidentified Lieutenant Colonel who is in France and briefly describes the European conflict. A letter from Dusty Rhodes, dated 21 Oct 1991, regards commemorating the 50th anniversary of the fall of Singapore.
