Panoramic view of Mahaki homestead, a large two-storeyed wooden farmhouse with return bull-nosed verandahs. Windmill behind house on the right. Drive up from centre curving by entrance. Paths down through garden with flower beds, arbours and lawns leading down to a paved tennis court. Sheep grazing in a paddock beyond fencing around the tennis court. Flat farmland and a long line of shelter trees across the image in the middle distance. Workmen's cottages and flax mill factory behind trees to the left of the house.
