Description: Four photographs relating to the Mann family of Wellington, taken by unidentified photographers. 1. Image shows Albert Edward Mann standing outside his boot manufactory (possibly in Ghuznee Street, Wellington) with friend W Martin, circa 1900. Copy. 2. Studio family portrait of Mr and Mrs Albert Edward Mann, and their son William Albert, circa 1906. 3. Union Clothing Store, corner of Cuba and Ghuznee Streets, Wellington, circa 1940s. Image shows signage, window display and fire hydrant on footpath. 4. Mann's Shoe Store in the same building as previous image, circa 1940s. Image shows window display and `hip' roof added to the building by William Mann. Source of descriptive information - Descriptive information partly derives from annotations and ms notes from donor (copies included with items; originals held in Brewer back file). Two of the images show the onstage performance, while the third was taken backstage.
