Photograph album on cycle racing in Christchurch and Canterbury

Items collected by David Oswald Tomlinson. Chiefly photographs in an album showing cyclists at bicycle races in Christchurch between 1948-1950 and circa 1950s. Many cyclists and events are named, with information about the race results, and brief comments regarding the photographs and the cycling events. Includes photographs taken at the Canterbury Centennial Games in December 1950. Also includes photo-mechanical prints autographed by Jan Derksen and Arie Van Vliet and some newspaper cuttings dated 1966 and 1979 that relate to cyclists included in the album.
