Panoramic view looking up at a large two-storeyed house, wooden upstairs, roughcast downstairs, with stone round the base of the house and up entrance posts. Also stone gateway far left with wrought iron gates, name plate "Wharanui". Stone wall partially covered with creeper along a path on right. Curved water lily lake left foreground, roses over pergola on right of lake. Shelter belt of macrocarpas behind wall on right, behind the house and behind garden on left. Lawns sloping down to lake.
