Description

Envelope shows a photograph of the town of Warkworth, and lists its attractions as golf (2 courses), tennis, bowling, croquet, shooting, bathing (sea and river), fishing, boating. Text recommends the overland route via Warkworth to beautiful Kawau Island. The envelope carries a 6d stamp and is addressed to Mr H G Nowland, at the Post Office at Barraba, NSW, Australia. The back of the envelope shows a rubber stamp of the sender, H Duke of "Lavona", Warkworth, New Zealand.
