- Description
Panoramic view of a large two-storeyed stone[?] house with quoins. Verandahs on the ground floor separated by curved stairs up to a deep portico. Decorative wrought-iron filigree on window ledges upstairs and along the verandah below. Single-storeyed addition partially visible on the left of the house, and another building behind trees on the far left. A weeping tree supported by props has seats beneath, and there is a flagpole on the lawn on the right. Tennis court slightly below the level of the house on the left. Flower bed in the centre of the lawn, garden surrounded by hedging and trees, including rhododendrons. Photograph taken by Robert Percy Moore.
