A large number of boys in school uniform (and teachers in the back row) are lined up by the verandah along the single-storeyed portion on the left. There is a bicycle shed with a row of bikes by a macrocarpa tree on the left.

2) An unidentified two-storeyed house on a hill. Single-storeyed wing on left, tiled roof, creeper growing up. Curved entrance to a driveway, garden with ferns, cabbage trees and a stone fence covered with creeper below the lower garden and the house.
