Postcard shows a coloured photograph of the suspeinsion bridge in Hobson Street, Thorndon, looking towards the houses on Tinakori Hill.
Handwritten ink message on verso, addressed to Violet Smith, Waimea Street, Nelson: "To my 'little postman'. I wonder if you will be posting any letters written to me, as you so often post those written by me? M Wilson"
