Description

Postcard is one of a set of six each showing a smiling head and shoulders portrait illustration of a young woman representing one of the allies - France, Italy, Great Britain, Belgium, Russia and Red Cross. This young woman wears a hat with a hatband in Italian colours, a red plume in the hatband, and a badge on her lapel.

The pencil message on the back is from "Bill", and says: "Apres le Gar seray Bon for us. Comprez x Bill" (Apres la guerre sera bon pour nous. Comprenez; After the war it will be good for us. Understand)
