Description

`Fernside', a large 2-storeyed home on one side of image, with grounds and garden seats in centre, hedge and arched gateway with trees on the other side. The home of Charles Elgar, near Featherston. Taken by Robert Percy Moore circa 1923 before it burnt down.

Inscriptions: Marginal notes on tape - "C. Elgar 4 of each sepia on DW"
