- Description
A concert performance given by a choir. The choir members, on a stage lit by candles in bottles, are members of the Opposition, led by William Massey in the centre. Several other men hold music that identifies them, including 'Signor Alleni' (James Allen) on the far left. The group is watched by the front row of an audience, including Sir Joseph Ward seated second from right, next to A Maori man, Sir James Carroll. Refers to Opposition behaviour in Parliament sittings
