Recording compiled from radio broadcasts featuring five trombonists. Tracks 1-6 include trombonists Neil Dunningham, Neil McGrough, Merv Thomas and Dale Alderton accompanied by Colin Martin, reeds; Crombie Murdoch, piano; George Campbell, bass; and Don Branch, drums. Tracks 7-13 Brian Biddick replaces Dale Alderton on trombone, Bob Ewing replaces George Campbell on bass. Esme Stephens sings on tracks 9 and 12.
