Shows Sir Joseph Ward in a boxing ring, facing up to a sumo wrestler, named as Nogi or Nogu. One minute later the Japanese is floored. The New Zealand flag appears in the left background, the Japanese flag in the right. Refers to Ward's role at the Imperial Conference, London, 1911 and associated events.
