Postcard shows a coloured photograph of the huts and thatched shelters of a Tongan village under coconut palm trees. Several figures stand near the huts.
The postcard is addressed to Miss Goodwin, care of Kenneth [ie Kennett] Watkins esq, artist, at Palmerston Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, and is postmarked 11 June 1908 in Tonga
The verso has an attached red one-penny Tongan stamp showing a spreading tree.
Kennett Watkins lived at the Palmerston Building, 47 Queen Street, at this time.
