Inscriptions: Marginal notes on negative - "J.G.E. Winsloe, Box 12, Waikaka. 3 B & W. Bluish grey house, dark red borders, tin roof. Apple trees in front of house, willows also firs and microcapras [i.e. macrocarpas] in belt of trees. Outbuildings unpainted tin roofs. Paddocks green"
