Photographs of World War II soldiers Ralph H Nicholson and Colonel Stephen Weir, both in uniform.

Images show:

- a head and shoulders portrait of Nicholson taken circa 1939-1945 by Christchurch photographer Hamish Keith

- a full length standing portrait of Colonel Stephen Weir when he was Nicholson's commanding officer, taken by Nicholson, outside barracks, probably in Egypt between 1941-1942. (Note, hand written on back of print by Nicholson, reads: Our C.O. Colonel "Steve" Weir and a jolly good "bloke". I took this snap just after Greece, outside our barracks where we lived at A- for three weeks)
