Description

Joseph Ward going hunting with Theodore Roosevelt. The pair are shown being pursued by a grizzly bear; 'My encounter with the Teddy Bear' (a startled Ward waking from a dream of Roosevelt's head on a shield); 'For the museum' showing a rhinoceros' head on a shield; 'We stalk the bull moose'; 'I save Theodore Roosevelt's life'; 'My first lion'; 'The cheque', a series showing a lion chasing Roosevelt, with Ward aiming his gun at the lion, standing on the dead lion, and receiving a cheque for $1000 from Roosevelt.
