Description

Shows a woman having the frills cut off the bottom of her dress by an Air New Zealand 'tailor'; meanwhile another woman carrying a Virgin Blue bag walks past, wearing only a bikini. Refers to the Virgin Blue (now Virgin Australia) airline, established in 2000, which became Australia's second biggest airline after the collapse of Ansett in 2001. Air New Zealand were selling tickets for no-frills Ansett Mark II flights, which put them in direct competition with Virgin Blue's 'no-frills' policy
