Programme for a concert celebrating the musical and artistic achievements of Gerard Hoffnung, and illustrated with his sketches from 1956 of orchestras in action, and a self-caricature.
The sketches in this programme were used by Eric Heath as inspiration for the illustration of a programme for the Christchurch Youth Orchestra's "Spring frolic" concert in a similar vein.
